Drop an HTML file or a folder to start

chamfer opens HTML decks and documents exactly as they are — no conversion, no re-rendering. A folder keeps its own CSS, images and fonts. Edit the text, then export the same HTML back out.

Everything happens inside your browser. Your files are never uploaded to a server.

What you can do with chamfer

chamfer is a free editor for HTML slides and documents made by AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini. Instead of asking the AI to regenerate the whole deck, open it here, fix the last few things on screen, and export the same HTML.

  • Open AI-made HTML as it is

A single HTML file, or a folder with its CSS and images. reveal.js decks and Claude Design deck-stage files work too, and slide breaks are found automatically.

  • Edit text in place

Click any text on a slide and type. Bold, colors and other formatting stay as they were.

  • Move, resize and restyle

Drag elements to move and resize them, set font size, color, background and spacing in the inspector, and swap images for your own files.

  • Add and rearrange

Reorder, duplicate and delete pages, and add text boxes, rectangles, ellipses, lines and arrows.

  • Animate and present

Make elements fade, slide or zoom in one at a time, and present full screen from the page you are on.

  • Export three ways

The same HTML with only your edits, a single-file presentation anyone can open, or a PDF with one slide per page.

Free, no install, and your files stay with you

There is nothing to install and no account to create. Unless you sign in, everything happens inside your browser and the files you open are never sent to a server.

Signing in with Google is optional. It saves the document you are editing to the cloud as you work, lets you open it again on another device, and gives you view-only links to share.
